All The Socks I’ve Ever Mended (2010 - present)

My family's holey and threadbare socks map the mending of embroidery stitches alluding to a long history of textile rehabilitation making the response an intervention and an act of repair and care. The stitches in these darned socks translate my debris drawing practice into a familiar, functional and fiber format.

This is an on-going mending art practice.
