Learn the basics of crochet and start stitching! This three week class starts with an introduction to hooks, yarn and different kinds of stitching. Then you'll work toward finishing an ear-warming headband or a hugging finger puppet. Each class starts with five minutes of breathing and stretching exercises to ground our crafting. Ages 12 and up are welcome! All materials provided.

Join me in making your own swept pile creature rug! I always imagined my MFA Thesis would involve a crafting workshop so here it is: drop in for a Weaving Waste Workshop for kids and people of all ages on Sat, 8/19 from 1-5pm @ 36 Loisaida Ave (3rd St & Ave C, LES).
Bring along your own personal debris/detritus (found bits and pieces of string, lint from your pocket, yarn/thread scraps, etc). We'll embrace messiness and mistake making!
